Pitt's "Race in America" Conference Offers Three Free Public Events, June 3-5

PITTSBURGH-The general public is invited to attend three key evening events associated with the upcoming "Race in America" conference at the University of Pittsburgh June 3-6. The solution-focused conference, hosted by Pitt's School of Social Work and Pitt's Center on Race and Social Problems, will convene 46 of the nation's top experts in the field of race relations.

The three free public events are as follows:

7 p.m., Thursday, June 3

Keynote Address: "The Road to Freedom: From Alabama to Obama"
