12/16-Pitt's Shona Sharif African Dance and Drum Ensemble will perform 12/18Black Nativity, a Gospel musical version of the Christmas story, in the Seventh-Floor Auditorium, Alumni Hall, 4227 Fifth Ave., Oakland. Performances are 8 p.m. Dec. 16 and 17 and 5 p.m. Dec. 18. General admission is $20; seniors and students are $10, and students with a valid Pitt ID are free. Tickets may be purchased at the door or through TicketMaster at 412-323-1919. For more information, call 412-648-2276.
TOUR
12/15 The 26 Nationality Rooms in Pitt's Cathedral of Learning, 4200 Fifth Ave., will be open for tours through Jan. 13. Hours are Monday through Friday,
9 a.m.-4 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. From Dec. 27 to Dec. 31, the rooms will open at 10 a.m., with the last tour beginning at 2: 30 p.m. The rooms are closed Dec. 24-26 and Jan. 1. Admission is $3 for adults and $1 for children ages eight to 18. Children under eight are admitted free.
