University of Pittsburgh Book Center to Host Author Meet and Greet
PITTSBURGH—Sam Sciullo, who received the Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Pittsburgh in 1981, will take part in a "Meet and Speak" session and will sign copies of his new book, Tales of the Pitt Panthers (Sports Publishing, 2004), at noon Oct. 22 at the University Book Center, 4000 Fifth Ave., Oakland.
Author of two other books—Panther Pride: University of Pittsburgh's Men's Basketball (Arcadia, 2002) and Pitt Stadium Memories (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2000)—Sciullo served for seven years as a member of Pitt's sports information office. He also is coeditor of Greatest Moments in Pitt Football History (Athlon, 1994).
