Pitt Bachelor's Degree in Administration of Justice Offered at Butler County Community College
PITTSBURGH-Beginning this fall, students who have completed an Associate's Degree at Butler County Community College (BC3) will have the opportunity to complete a University of Pittsburgh Bachelor of Arts degree in administration of justice, without having to travel outside Butler County.
Pitt's College of General Studies (CGS) is holding two information sessions, from 4 to 6 p.m. March 7 and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 11. Both sessions will be held at the Convocation Center on the BC3 main campus, College Drive, Butler.
The CGS will offer five courses on the BC3 campus that will fulfill requirements for the Administration of Justice degree. The classes are also open to those wishing to pursue other majors at Pitt. Students will need to meet Pitt admissions requirements.
"A lot of our community college students live in this area, and many have part-time or full-time jobs," says Bill Miller, BC3 Dean for Humanities and Social Sciences. "This gives them an opportunity to work toward a four-year degree without leaving the community on a daily basis."
