KUNTU REPERTORY THEATRE OFFERS FREE WRITERS' WORKSHOP
PITTSBURGH, Sept. 15 -- The University of Pittsburgh's Kuntu Repertory Theatre (KRT) is sponsoring a free creative writing and playwriting workshop from 3:30 to 5 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 18, in the social room of the Stephen Foster Memorial Theatre on Pitt's Oakland campus.
The workshop will be conducted by Joy Jones, whose work, "A Musical Level of Pain" was featured among 14 plays in the 1999 Pittsburgh New Works Festival. "A Musical Level of Pain" is being produced by KRT at the Hamburg Studio Theatre of City Theatre on the South Side. Performances are offered Thursdays and Fridays at 8 p.m., Saturdays at 6 and 9 p.m., and Sundays at
4 and 7 p.m.
