Pitt’s 2014 Studio Arts Student Exhibition Features Work by Graduating Seniors
PITTSBURGH—Artwork by 13 University of Pittsburgh graduating seniors will be featured in the annual Studio Arts Student Exhibition from April 2 through April 26 at Pitt’s University Art Gallery, Frick Fine Arts Building, 650 Schenley Dr., Oakland.
The exhibition comprises the work of both nonmajors and majors in the Department of Studio Arts, which is part of the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences. The artwork represents drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, digital photography, video, and animation.
The gallery will hold a free public opening reception from 4 to 6 p.m. April 2. Some of the student artists will be on hand to discuss their work at noon April 16.
Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The gallery will also be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 26.
