Through 4/28 The Department of Studio Arts presents the Student Studio Arts Exhibition at the University Art Gallery, Frick Fine Arts Building, 650 Schenley Dr., Oakland. Through 4/28 The University Library System (ULS) will display the front pages of the original state charters that created Pittsburgh Academy and the Western University of Pennsylvania, which eventually became the University of Pittsburgh, to mark Pitt’s anniversary—225 Years of Building Better Lives—in the glass Audubon case, ground floor, Hillman Library, 3960 Forbes Ave., Oakland. The documents are on loan from the PA State Archives. Facsimiles of the charters’ other pages will be displayed in the adjacent hallway. For more information, call 412-648-8199.

4/30-5/5 Pitt and Pittsburgh Filmmakers will present the 14th Annual Russian Film Symposium titled “Camp Cinema: Russian Style,” in Room 106 of Pitt’s Lawrence Hall, 3942 Forbes Ave. and in the Filmmakers’ Melwood Screening Room, 477 Melwood Ave., Oakland.
