4/4      Nigel Grindley, a biochemist and professor of molecular biophysics and biochemistry at Yale University, will deliver the lecture “Holding Hands While Doing the Twist: A Nano-scale Rotational Bearing in DNA Recombination,” at 4 p.m., Room 169, Crawford Hall, Fifth and Ruskin Avenues, Oakland. Grindley will discuss his ongoing study of the enzymes that initiate DNA replication and rearrangement. He is the guest speaker for the 2011 Tousimis-Lauffer Lecture program hosted by Pitt’s Department of Biological Sciences. A reception will follow the lecture.
