Cyril Wecht to Lecture at Pitt

PITTSBURGH—Allegheny County Coroner and University of Pittsburgh graduate Cyril H. Wecht, M.D., will lecture on the John F. Kennedy assassination from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Oct.10, in Room 121 David Lawrence Hall, 3941 Forbes Ave., Oakland.
Wecht will review the facts and theories and take a closer look at other crucial topics concerning the JFK assassination. Wecht has won international recognition for his work as a consultant, author, and lecturer in the field of forensic science.
The JFK assassination, along with cases involving Mary Jo Kopechne, Sunny von Bulow, and many others are explored from the perspective of Wecht's own involvement in his three books, Cause of Death, Grave Secrets, and Who Killed JonBenet Ramsey?, all published by Dutton/Penguin.
The cost of the lecture is $18. It is sponsored by the University of Pittsburgh's Center for Lifetime Learning. For more information, call 412-383-8600.
