The Pitt Informal Program, administered by the University of Pittsburgh College of General Studies, offers noncredit courses that are open to anyone. They provide the opportunity to pursue an interest, brush up on a skill, or advance one's career. Most PIP classes are held on the Oakland campus, on weekends or in the evening, to accommodate working adults.
