PITT ALUMNAE COUNCIL'S 58TH CHILDREN'S HOLIDAY PARTY CELEBRATES HOLIDAYS AROUND THE WORLD
PITTSBURGH, Nov. 18 -- Santa Claus, face painting, crafts, and refreshments are just a few of the enticements for children attending the University of Pittsburgh Alumnae Council's 58th annual Children's Holiday Party on Saturday, Dec. 4, from 1 to 3 p.m., in the Cathedral of Learning Commons Room.
The event is open to the public and reservations are required. Admission to the holiday party, which is for children 10 and under, is $5, with children three and under admitted for free. All proceeds benefit the Alumnae Council Scholarship Fund and Lantern Night.
Entertainment will include Imaginarium, music, photos with Santa, balloons, and more. The Alumnae Council will be collecting unwrapped gifts of toys or clothing to distribute to needy children. Anyone interested in participating is asked to bring a small gift item for the collection.
