ROTC AT PITT TO CONDUCT FALL REVIEW

PITTSBURGH, September 24 -- The cadets/midshipmen of Army, Air Force and Naval ROTC at the University of Pittsburgh will conduct a Review at 3 p.m., Thursday, September 30 on the lawn behind the Cathedral of Learning.

The event is designed to increase public awareness and appreciation of ROTC and the military; allow cadets/midshipmen to gain knowledge of military leadership, and promote appreciation for service members of every branch across the Pittsburgh area.

Guest speaker for the Review will be Command Sergeant Major John T. Oliver.

The University of Pittsburgh Senior Army ROTC program trains college students for leadership positions. Students from Pitt, Duquesne University, Carnegie Mellon University, Washington & Jefferson College, California University of Pennsylvania, Chatham College, and St. Vincent's College attend class at the University of Pittsburgh's Department of Military Science in their pursuit to become commissioned officers in the U.S. Army.
