PITT'S GRADUATE SCHOOL OF PUBLIC AND INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS TO HOST OPEN HOUSE

PITTSBURGH, Nov. 13 -- Anyone interested in learning to "Change the World in Practical Ways" is invited to attend an Open House hosted by the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA) at the University of Pittsburgh, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 20, in Room 2M-2P, Forbes Quadrangle Building, 230 S. Bouquet Street.

Attendees will learn about the degrees offered by GSPIA: two-year master's programs in public administration, public and international affairs and public and international affairs/economic and social development; one-year master's program in public policy and management; and a Ph.D. program in public and international affairs.

Participants will engage in an interactive process to find solutions to real life issues facing management professionals in one of the following specialized areas:

• Management of non-profit organizations

• Environmental management and policy

• Personnel and labor relations

• Urban management and metropolitan policy

• International security studies

• International political economy

• International corporate environment

The Open House will conclude with a discussion session where faculty, staff and students will be available to answer questions about GSPIA.
