GSPIA GRADUATE ELECTED TREASURER OF Y.W.C.A. NATIONAL BOARD OF DIRECTORS
PITTSBURGH, Sept. 30 -- Peggy B. Harris, who graduated in 1978 from the University of Pittsburgh's Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA) with a master's in public administration, recently was elected treasurer of the Y.W.C.A. of the U.S.A. National Board of Directors.
Harris will serve a three-year term. Previously, she served as assistant treasurer for a two-year term.
Harris is the chief operating officer at Alternative Program Associates. She also advises a number of local non-profit organizations in financial management and has lectured at the college level. Harris has been included in both "100 Black Women in Pittsburgh" and "Who's Who Among American Women 1995-96."
