9/20 University Organist Robert Sutherland Lord opens his annual recital series which celebrates the 60th anniversary of the dedication of Heinz Chapel. 9/20 The Pittsburgh Compline Choir continues its Compline Choir Series with Joyce Moon Strobel, organ and Lianne Sheplar, flute. EXHIBIT

9/16 - 12/11Pitt's University Art Gallery presents Creating a Sense of Place: Devotion Builds a Campus. The four exhibits presented are: Honoring Cultural Traditions: The 60th Anniversary of the Nationality Rooms; Heinz Memorial Chapel: Celebrating 60 Years of Light; In the Public Eye, A Century of Art and Architecture on Pitt's Campus; and Over Time: The Art of Jane Haskell. The curators for the exhibits are the students from the 1998 Museum Studies Seminar at Pitt. Frick Fine Arts, University Art Gallery, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday - Friday.
