PITT'S KUNTU REPERTORY THEATRE TO HOLD OPEN AUDITIONS, AUGUST 17
PITTSBURGH, August 14 -- Pitt's internationally-known Kuntu Repertory Theatre will hold open auditions for the play "Sacred Ground" (formerly titled "Ancestors Walking") from 6:30 to 11 pm, Monday August 17. Auditions will be held in Room 3T01 of the Forbes Quadrangle Building on Pitt's Oakland campus.
Roles are available for:
• Black males, approximate ages 21-50;
• Black females, approximate ages 23-50;
• White males and females, approximate ages 30-50.
Preregistration is not required to audition; however, anyone wishing to sign up in advance or who has questions can call 412-624-7298.
Written by Valerie Lawrence, "Sacred Ground" will be directed by Vernell A. Lillie. Performances will be held September 24 through October 10.
The Forbes Quadrangle Building is located at 230 S. Bouquet Street, behind Hillman Library.
