PITTSBURGH—The Office of International Services (OIS) will now hold two "Town Meetings" to discuss important changes in U.S. immigration law affecting international students attending the University: noon to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 3 in the William Pitt Union Assembly Room, 3959 Fifth Ave.; and 4:30 to 6 p.m. Feb. 4 in Room 120 David Lawrence Hall, 3942 Forbes Ave.

OIS staff will present information and answer questions regarding the latest changes in immigration laws and regulations, including the implementation of the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service's Student and Exchange Visitor Information System for tracking and reporting information on internationals, the Interim Student and Exchange Visitor Authentication System, the National Security Entry-Exit Registration System, and the new OIS data collection and University reporting obligations.

Identical material will be covered at each meeting, so participants need only attend one meeting. All internationals and faculty and administrators who work with internationals are urged to attend.
