Pitt to Host "Spring Into Dance," April 10 Workshop for High School Students
PITTSBURGH-The University of Pittsburgh's Department of Health and Physical Activity will host its fourth annual high school dance workshop titled "Spring Into Dance" at noon April 10 in Trees Hall, Allequippa and Darragh streets, Oakland. The event, featuring a variety of dance styles and techniques, will be held in conjunction with the Pitt Dance Ensemble and the Community Leisure-Learn Program.
Pitt faculty and members of the ensemble will provide instruction in many forms of dance, including ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, and tap. The workshop will culminate with an informal recital featuring members of the Pitt Dance Ensemble and workshop participants.
