Pitt's G-20 Summit Web Site Offers Faculty Experts, Story Ideas

Site topics range from international finance, economics, and culture to post-industrial Pittsburgh and local landmarks

PITTSBURGH-The University of Pittsburgh Office of Public Affairs has created a

G-20 Summit Web site at www.g20.pitt.edu to provide the media and the public with easy access to experts and story ideas related to Pittsburgh serving as host of the international economic summit Sept. 24-25.

Contact information for experts on topics related to each of the G-20 participants as well as themes relating to the G-20 Summit is available, as are myriad story ideas that relate directly and indirectly to the event and host city.

Some examples include:

The Nationality Rooms at Pitt's Cathedral of Learning;

Re-inventing an Industrial Town;

Pitt's East Asian Gateway Service;

JURIST: Law Everywhere; and

Pitt's Green Expertise.

The site will be continually updated with new story ideas and experts through the G-20 Summit.
