University of Pittsburgh's Matthew B. Ridgway Center for International Security Will Host Panel Discussion Moderated By U.S. Senator Robert P. Casey Jr.
PITTSBURGH-U.S. Senator Robert P. Casey Jr. will be at the University of Pittsburgh to moderate a panel discussion hosted by the University's Matthew B. Ridgway Center for International Security. The panel discussion, "U.S. China Relationship and Its Implications for Pennsylvania," will be held at 11 a.m. March 19, Barco Law Building, Teplitz Moot Courtroom, 3900 Forbes Ave., Oakland; a question-and-answer session will follow. The event is free and open to the public.
The panel will examine the nature of the United States' relationship with China and the implications of that relationship for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Pitt panelists will include William Keller, Wesley W. Posvar Chair in the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA) and director of the Ridgway Center, and Thomas Rawski, professor of economics in the School of Arts and Sciences.
The event is sponsored by Pitt's Matthew B. Ridgway Center for International Security Studies, GSPIA, University Honors College, and the University Center for International Studies' Asian Studies Center.
