Pitt Art Exhibition Showcases Students’ Work, March 30-April 30
PITTSBURGH—The work of 26 graduating seniors at the University of Pittsburgh will be showcased in the annual Studio Arts Student Exhibition March 30 through April 30 in the University Art Gallery, Frick Fine Arts Building, 650 Schenley Dr., Oakland.
An opening reception will be held at the gallery from 4 to 6 p.m. March 30. Several of the artists also will be at the gallery at noon on April 13 to discuss their work. The show features paintings, drawings, sculpture, printmaking, and digital media.
Participating students are on track to graduate with a Bachelor of Arts degree in studio arts this academic year; the exhibition also includes selected works from other Studio Arts students.
Gallery hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. The gallery will be open those same hours on Saturday, April 30, prior to Pitt’s May 1 Commencement ceremony.
