Pitt Offers Information Session on Upcoming E-Commerce Management Certificate Program

PITTSBURGH—The University of Pittsburgh College of General Studies will conduct a free information session downtown on a new, noncredit certificate program in electronic commerce, being offered this fall at Pitt's Computer Learning Center. The information session will take place from noon – 12:55 p.m., Wednesday, July 25, at the Center, located in the Kossman Building, 100 Forbes Avenue, downtown.
This session will explain how e-commerce is changing the way business operates, and will allow prospective students to learn more about the program's content and fees and to talk with one of the instructors. Call 412/281-7488 to register.
The Certificate in E-Commerce Management is a part-time, six-course program, with four core courses and two electives. Expected to take seven months to complete, it will cover e-commerce applications, technology, strategic planning, security, privacy, and fraud protection.
