PITT ALUMNI CENTER OPENS HISTORIC MASONIC TEMPLE

PITTSBURGH, March 29 -- The University of Pittsburgh Alumni Affairs Association will hold an Open House on Saturday, April 8, from 3 to 8 p.m., in its new Alumni Center on the first floor of the renovated Masonic Temple, 4227 Fifth Avenue, Oakland.

The event is free and open to the public. Tours of the historic Masonic Temple will include visits to Admissions and Financial Aid, the Center for Instructional Development and Distance Education, Governmental Relations, Institute of Politics, Katz Center for Executive Education, Mellon Financial Corporation Hall, and the Natural Science Lecture Hall.

In addition, the Annual Chancellor's Concert, featuring the Pitt Symphonic Band, is open to those in attendance and will be held at 4:30 p.m. in the Masonic Temple Ballroom. Kuntu Repertory Theatre will perform "Nefertari Rising" at
