20TH PITTSBURGH CHEMISTRY OLYMPICS
PITTSBURGH, May 12 -- The 20th annual Pittsburgh Chemistry Olympics is being held today, May 12, in the University of Pittsburgh Chemistry Department. The event, sponsored by the Pittsburgh American Chemical Society Chemical Education Group and the Pitt Chemistry Department, features 97 student teams from 45 area high schools competing in laboratory events in one of three categories.
Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams at a ceremony at 3 p.m. in the Ashe Auditorium, Chevron Hall. A list of participating schools is attached.
