PITT TO DEMONSTRATE EASTERN EUROPEAN EGG DECORATING TECHNIQUES AT BARNES & NOBLE
PITTSBURGH, March 10 -- The University of Pittsburgh's Center for Russian and East European Studies will demonstrate the fine art of egg decorating from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 16, at the Barnes & Noble book store, downtown.
The session will present both Polish and Ukrainian egg decorating techniques. Previously-decorated eggs will be displayed and a hands-on demonstration will be offered.
This presentation is the next in a monthly series offered at Barnes & Noble by Pitt's University Center for International Studies, Africana Studies and the African Drum & Dance Ensemble.
The event is free and open to the public. Barnes & Noble is located at
339 Sixth Avenue, entrance on Smithfield Street.
