ATTN: FEATURE AND PHOTO EDITORS PITT NON-TRADITIONAL STUDENT LEADERS TO BE HONORED
PITTSBURGH, August 31 -- A large plaque honoring the University of Pittsburgh's outstanding non-traditional students will be unveiled Tuesday, September 1 at 5:15 p.m in the William Pitt Union atrium.
Pitt's non-traditional students enroll through the College of General Studies (CGS). The plaque commemorates those students who have excelled in scholarship, leadership and service, and reflects all the awards and scholarships presented by the College of General Studies Student Government to date, with space for additional names.
Pitt administrators and dozens of honorees will be present at the unveiling. The plaque was funded through CGS student activity fees.
