Pitt's Kuntu Repertory Theatre 4th Annual "Poetry Slamm" to Feature Live Performances
PITTSBURGH—The University of Pittsburgh's Kuntu Repertory Theatre will hold its 4th Annual "Poetry Slamm" Contest from 7 to 10 p.m. Oct. 9 in the Frick Fine Arts Auditorium, Schenley Drive, Oakland. The live performances are open to the public.
Poets will present original work, and performances are limited to three minutes. They will be judged on poetic delivery, content, interpretation, and style. Winners will receive prizes and be invited to present their poetry during intermission of a performance of Kuntu's first production of the 2003-2004 season, She'll Find Her Way Home.
