Pitt's Kuntu Repertory Theatre, Disney to Hold Auditions for The Lion King
PITTSBURGH—Disney Theatrical Productions of New York, in conjunction with Kuntu Repertory Theatre at the University of Pittsburgh, will hold auditions for adult singers for Disney's The Lion King on April 12 in Room G8 of the Cathedral of Learning, 4200 Fifth Ave., in Oakland.
Singers are asked to sign-in between 9:30 and 11 a.m. for an audition slot and are asked to bring the sheet music of a song that demonstrates voice and range in
16 bars, along with a recent photo and resume. Piano accompaniment will be provided. A capella will not be permitted. The audition schedule will be fluid. Singers should be prepared to wait.
Possible callbacks will be conducted April 13.
Disney Theatrical Productions is seeking replacements for both Broadway and national touring companies. All roles are open, including the African Lions Simba and Nala.
