EVA Dimensions CEO Will Assess Creation and Destruction Values of Pittsburgh Companies in an April 6 Lecture

PITTSBURGH-Bennett Stewart, principal creator of the EVA (Economic Value Added) framework and CEO of EVA Dimensions, will speak at a by-invitation event sponsored by the University of Pittsburgh's Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business and College of Business Administration at noon on April 6 at the Duquesne Club, 325 Sixth Ave., Downtown.

EVA Dimensions provides services in the fields of financial benchmark data, performance management and valuation software, and investment research and funds management.

During his presentation, Stewart will share value creation and value destruction scores of local businesses, using the EVA and MVA (Market Value Added) frameworks he developed.

Stewart is the author of "The Quest for Value" (HarperBusiness, 1991), which is regarded as the definitive guide to the EVA financial management and incentive compensation framework now employed at more than 350 companies worldwide. He also has published numerous articles on corporate financial management and lectured widely in his 30-year professional career.

Stewart holds his MBA from the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business and graduated cum laude from Princeton University with a degree in electrical engineering.
