12/3 "Free At Last? Slavery in Pittsburgh in the 18th and 19th Centuries," an exhibition by the University of Pittsburgh, is being presented at the Senator John Heinz History Center, 1212 Smallman St., Strip District. 12/3 Allan Zuckoff, a professor in Pitt's School of Medicine, will deliver a lecture titled "Grief and It's Complications: Understanding How Grief Works (and When It Isn't Working)" at 6 p.m., Carnegie Library, 4400 Forbes Ave., Oakland.
