PITTSBURGH-A variety of artwork by University of Pittsburgh students is being featured in the annual Studio Arts Student Exhibition, which is on display from April 5 to 30 in the University Art Gallery in Pitt's Frick Fine Arts Building, Schenley Drive, Oakland.
The art is mostly that of graduating seniors, but also features selected pieces from sophomores and juniors. The works include paintings, drawings, sculpture, printmaking, and digital imaging, and have been produced during the student artist's time at Pitt.
The free public opening reception is at 4 p.m. April 5. At noon April 12, six of the student artists will be in the gallery to discuss their work.
