LECTURES

2/16 Mike Golic and Mike Greenberg, cohosts of ESPN's radio show Mike and Mike in the Morning, will give a lecture presentation sponsored by the Pitt Program Council at

8:30 p.m. in the William Pitt Union Assembly Room, 3959 Fifth Ave., Oakland. The

cohosts will discuss their broadcasting careers, followed by a question-and-answer

session. The event is free for all Pitt students and $6 for all others. Pitt students with a

valid ID will be admitted first; all others will be admitted at 8:25 p.m. For more

2/16 As part of the Pitt Asian Studies Center's Asia Over Lunch Spring 2006 Series, Helen Hopper, a Pitt adjunct professor of history, will give a lecture, titled "Japanese and Western Travelers Invent the Ainu," at noon, Room 4130, Posvar Hall, 230 S. 2/16 Poets Ruth Schwartz and Barbara Edelman will give a free reading at noon Feb. 16 in the University Book Center, 4000 Fifth Ave., Oakland. 2/16 Pitt Repertory Theatre will continue to present Tales of the Lost Formicans, written by Constance Congdon and directed by Robert C.T. EXHIBITION

2/16 In celebration of the 125th anniversary of Three Rivers Youth, the oldest agency in

Pennsylvania to serve Black children, a Pitt-sponsored exhibition, titled From Colored Orphans to Youth Development, will run through March 5 at the John Heinz History Center, 1212 Smallman St. The exhibition will feature vintage photos, artifacts, and printed materials.
