11/20 Mixed-media and installation artist Tenanche Golden and fiber artist Anna Cunningham at Women of Visions Inc. will deliver a lecture titled "The Art of Whitfield Lovell" as part of the art exhibition A Sense of Place: Contemporary African American Art, which runs through Dec. 9 in the University Art Gallery. 11/17 As part of the Pitt Heinz Chapel Pittsburgh Artists Series, The Douglas Levine Trio will give a performance at 8 p.m., Heinz Memorial Chapel, Fifth and Bellefield avenues, Oakland. Admission is $12; tickets for the entire season may be purchased in advance for $50. The season, which continues through March 2006, includes performances by the Mike Tomaro Quintet Jan. 19 and the Valentine's Concert by Daphne Alderson Feb. 14. TOUR

11/17 The 26 Nationality Rooms in Pitt's Cathedral of Learning, 4200 Fifth Ave., will be open for tours from Nov. 13 to Jan. 13. Hours are Monday through Friday,

9 a.m.-4 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. An exception is Friday, Nov. 25, with rooms opening at 10 a.m. From Dec. 27 to

Dec. 31, the rooms will open at 10 a.m., with the last tour beginning at 2: 30 p.m. The rooms are closed Dec. 24-26 and Jan. 1. Admission is $3 for adults and $1 for children ages eight to 18. Children under eight are admitted free. The holiday tours include a free Holiday Open House Dec. 4 from noon to 4 p.m., which will include traditional holiday performances, ethnic foods, and crafts for sale.
