12/6                 Claudia Goldin, Henry Lee Professor of Economics at Harvard University, will deliver a free lecture titled “Career and Family Conundrum,” at 3:30 p.m., Ballroom B, University Club, 123 University Place, Oakland. 12/8                 Tony Norman, columnist for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, will deliver a lecture titled “Columnizing in a Postracial World” at noon, School of Social Work Conference Center, 2017 Cathedral of Learning, 4200 Fifth Ave., Oakland. The event is sponsored by Pitt’s Center on Race and Social Problems and is part of the center’s Buchanan Ingersoll and Rooney PC Fall 2010 Speaker Series. Lunch provided.
