PITTSBURGH—Noted essayist and American culture scholar Gerald Early has had to cancel his lunch lecture at the University of Pittsburgh’s Center on Race and Social Problems—originally scheduled for noon Friday, Feb. 22—because of inclement weather.

Lunch will still be provided and a PBS film, Haiti and the Dominican Republic: An Island Divided, will be shown instead. 

The event will be held at Pitt’s Center on Race and Social Problems, School of Social Work Conference Center, 20th floor, Cathedral of Learning, 4200 Fifth Ave., Oakland.
