Noteworthy: Ramsey received the University of Pittsburgh's 225th Anniversary Medallion. The award recognizes Ramsey's work in transforming Gateway Rehab into an internationally recognized drug and alcohol treatment center. Education: Ramsey received a bachelor's degree in sociology from Wheeling Jesuit University in 1964, a master's in social work from Fordham University in 1966 and a doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh School of Social Work in 1984.
