PITTSBUGH, April 10 -- The Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA) at the University of Pittsburgh is hosting an Open House to address questions individuals might have about earning a master's degree in public policy and management (MPPM) in 24 months or less. The session, geared toward people with a bachelor's degree and at least five years of work experience, will be held from 5:30 to

7 p.m., Thursday, May 3 in Room 2 (31st floor) of the Regional Enterprise Tower (formerly the Alcoa Building), 425 Sixth Avenue, Downtown.

The MPPM degree offers a flexible option for learning new management skills. The specializations available are: management of nonprofit organizations; metropolitan and regional development management; environmental management and policy; personnel and labor relations management; policy analysis and evaluation; global political economy; security and intelligence studies; and criminal justice.
