LECTURE 
11/13 Avila Kilmurray, director of the Community Foundation for Northern Ireland, will address the role of philanthropy in advancing community and peace building in Northern Ireland in her lecture, “Philanthropy in Northern Ireland—Bridging Divides, Bringing Peace, and Building Community,” from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in Room 3911, Wesley W. THEATER
Through 11/18 Pitt Repertory Theatre presents the comedy/drama Compleat Female Stage Beauty, written by Jeffrey Hatcher and directed by Pitt doctoral student Dave Bisaha, Henry Heymann Theatre, Pitt’s Stephen Foster Memorial, Forbes Avenue and Bigelow Boulevard, Oakland. Performances are at 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays. Opening night performance Friday, Nov. 9 followed by a post-show reception. 11/12 NoPassport theatre alliance and press will present a free staged reading of the play Spark, which involves three sisters caught up in the aftermath of war, written by NoPassport founder Caridad Svich and directed by Pitt theatre arts faculty member Lisa Jackson-Schebetta, 7 p.m., Henry Heymann Theatre, Pitt’s Stephen Foster Memorial, Forbes Avenue and Bigelow Boulevard, Oakland. FILM
11/19 The Pittsburgh Consortium for Adoption Studies and Pitt’s Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences present Made in India, a film by Rebecca Haimowitz and Vaishali Sinha about surrogacy in India. The filmmakers will introduce the film and take questions afterwards. Free to the public, 7:30 p.m., 5200 Posvar Hall, 230 S. Bouquet St., Oakland. EXHIBITIONS
Through 11/30 Students in Pitt’s Museum Studies course, within the Department of History of Art and Architecture, present an exhibition titled Face Value: (De)Constructing Identity in Portraits at the University Art Gallery, Frick Fine Arts Building, 650 Schenley Drive, Oakland. 11/16 The University Library System presents Pitt’s second annual Audubon Day, featuring a free public display of 20-24 prints from John James Audubon’s Birds of America, 9 a.m. – 4:45 p.m., Room 363, Hillman Library, 3960 Forbes Ave., Oakland. Roberta Olson, curator of drawings at the New York Historical Society, will speak about her work with the original Audubon watercolors at 2 p.m. For more information, contact Jeanann Haas at 412-648-8199 or jeanann@pitt.edu.

REMEMBRANCE DAY—NATIONAL ROLL CALL
11/12 Pitt’s Office of Veterans Services presents participation in the Remembrance Day National Roll Call to honor American servicemen and women. Pitt staff, faculty, and community volunteers will read names of those who have died in operations in Iraq and Afghanistan, 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Lower Lounge, William Pitt Union, 3959 Fifth Ave., Oakland.
